A/V Short Project

This is a video that I made of my favorite poem, Where the Sidewalk Ends. I hope you all like it! Also, please let me know ASAP if it doesn't work well, or at all for that matter...

  1. That was pretty good. I hadn't heard it in a while. Interesting that I just said "heard" to a poem that was "read." But it is one of my favs too.

  2. Nice job Molly. We had similar subjects - sidewalks. I think it would have been really cool to have a little girl reading the poem as a voice over or something like that. Maybe would have added a bit of nostalgia for us big kids and maybe could have reflected you in your younger years. Just a thought I had. But I enjoyed reading the poem too. It's been a VERY long time!

  3. I agree with Matt on the voice-over. Also, I really wanted a destination...like the library, haha!

Thanks for sharing that wonderful poem with me again.

  4. Matt's idea would have been a pretty cool idea but I love what you have provided with us. Great poem, by the way! Thanks for sharing :)

  5. Thanks for all the encouraging words! I'm so glad that you all liked it. As for the voice over, that would have been an awesome idea. Unfortunately, I didn't even think of that! I'm actually kind of sad that we only get to make one of these for this class. I really enjoyed doing this project and watching everyone else's :)

  6. Hey molly I love Shel Silverstein! I also really enjoyed that your video was black and white. I thought maybe you were going to get out of the car and walk towards the end when the car stopped. And when I was reading the poem I could even see kids drawing the white arrows as you walked past on the sidewalk...but that is because your project and all its adds like the video and the music and even the stead consistent word flow didn't take away from the poem and I was still able to imagine! I really enjoyed this thank you.
